National Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders (NCEED)

NCEED is the nation’s first center of excellence dedicated to eating disorders. Founded in 2018 by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, their mission is to advance education and training of healthcare providers and to promote public awareness of eating disorders and eating disorder treatment.

Academy for Eating Disorders (AED)

The Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) helps physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists, academic researchers, students and experts through lived experience connect and collaborate with each other and keep abreast of recent developments in eating disorders research. Their mission is to advance eating disorder prevention, education, treatment, and research by expanding the global community of committed professionals.

International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp)

International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) provides education and high-level training standards to an international multidisciplinary group of various healthcare treatment providers and helping professions, who treat the full spectrum of eating disorder problems. Iaedp also offers a certification process for those who wish to receive specialized credentials in their work with people with eating disorders and publishes The Eating Disorders Review, an online professional journal, which addresses contemporary treatment issues.
